Explaining the NEET exam pattern, NTA has mentioned the following instructions:

  • Section A  has 35 questions in each subject. All questions are compulsory.
  • Section B consists of 15 questions in each subject In Section B, a candidate needs to attempt any 10 questions out of 15 in each subject.
  • Candidates are required to read all 15 questions in Section B of each subject carefully.  If the candidate attempts more than 10 questions, then the first 10 questions answered by the candidate will be evaluated.

NEET 2025: Important Points to Remember For OMR Sheet

NTA has mentioned the following guidelines for filling the NEET exam OMR sheet:

  • Answers must have to be marked using a ballpoint pen. The pen will be provided in the examination hall
  • Changing answers on the OMR sheet is strictly prohibited.
  • Erasing or obliterating any information printed on the OMR sheet is a punishable offense
  • Rough work must be done on the test booklet only
  • A Candidate must  mark the test booklet code on the OMR sheet
  • Candidates are required to ensure that the NEET question paper code matches with that of the OMR sheet.
